This pub is situated beside the River Heddon in the heart of Parracombe, the Fox and Goose is an ideal base for exploring the delights of Exmoor. The owners, Phil and Sally offer a warm welcome and friendly service and its well worth a stop to chat to them. The beers on at the time were Cotleigh Barn Owl, Exmoor Gold and Dartmoor Best, though these are only the current ales and you should check to see what's new. Food is excellent and wholesome and reasonably priced. |
