Many simply love to sit and ponder by the water, watching the ducks and moorhens go about their day. But some just can’t resist the chance to test their skills against the fish!
Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced fisherman, why not give our coarse fishing lake a go! As well as home to a variety of birds, the large lake is stocked with carp, tench, roach, rudd and perch.
We have had a weed problem on the lake over the past couple of years but we are hoping to deal with this before the new 2013 season (although the rain is limiting us at the moment.) That said, we have had a number of comments from some regular fishermen that it is certainly possible to catch the fish despite the weed.
